I supervise both Master's (MEd) and Doctoral (PhD) students with an interest in special and inclusive education for students with autism, intellectual disability, or other developmental disabilities.
Interested in studying with me? See below for stipulations and information.
  • Students must have specific research interests that align with my expertise.
  • Students with teaching or closely related experience will receive preference.
  • Students without Canadian residency or citizenship will be considered, however, due to current structural issues (e.g., low funding package, incredibly competitive acceptance, high cost of living) may find Queen's to be a challenging academic environment.
  • My graduate students are expected to participate in the leadership and activities of the ADD*Ed research group and regular group supervisee meetings as an integral part of graduate training.
  • Graduate applications are due to Queen's in late fall. Interested and suitable applicants should contact me between September and November with a brief (1-2 page) proposal and an academic writing sample. Applicants that appear to be a good fit, will be invited to an online interview. See details for the formal application process:
