What former students have said about the program...
"This was an amazing trip and I would recommend this to anyone that can go"
"Comparing what we were learning in class to our educational visits in Denmark built up excitement to travel. When we experienced each of the unique educational visits that were planned for us it brought all of the course work to life. I feel more prepared teach students with intellectual disabilities now that I am equipped with the knowledge of the vast history of intellectual disabilities and the variety of methods to use in my classroom."
"Denmark was amazing! I am so thankful for the opportunity to travel and study abroad with not only a couple of great professors but amazing students as well. I not only became more knowledgable about the program I am going into- special education- but learned so much from the Danish culture. My study abroad experience has completely opened my eyes to so many new things and I am so excited to use my experiences in my future career!"
"Very rewarding, mostly because our faculty leaders were very organized with the trip. It was amazing to learn many things from a completely new perspective that you can't possibly get from classes on campus. It also allows students to learn together as they experience new cultures with each other. The experience really challenges you to stretch your comfort zones and realize how unique the world can be!"
"I would do it again in a heartbeat"
